I swear I’m gonna update this ASAP! New vlog, measurements, and goals coming soon!
Maybe when I’m 160 pounds lighter…
This thought always lingers when it comes to my pursuit of love, life, and happiness.
I try to tell myself that I have to be smaller in order to fulfill my dreams, fall in love, be successful, etc. But in actuality, my life goals are not based on my looks but instead based on my self-esteem and confidence.
This is no doubt easier said than done but I suppose I should work out the issues that made me heavier rather than run away from them.
Time to face my fears.

Still losing pounds but not so much inches. Gotta get back in the gym! I stopped going for a while because of work and school and life but definitely gonna recharge this weekend and be back on top of my game. I’ll post more of the stuff I eat and healthy low-carb/low calorie recipes I’m trying out.
Vlog coming later too.
Weight: 333.3 lbs/151.2 kg
Total loss: 49.7 lbs/22.5 kg
Fifty pounds in 15 weeks! That’s pretty good.
I’m still trying to cope with the fact that I won’t be able to get surgery and instead I’ll be doing this on my own. I still have a twinge of sadness about it but I have to realize that I’ve done well on my own and it may take a little longer to get to where I want to be but I’m committed to doing this.
I will continue updating my weight every week and making vlogs (although not as frequently).
Thanks for all who’ve supported me thus far. You all are great!
It’s Friday, October 6th and for the umpteenth time my mother calls out for me.
“Brittany!!”
“Yesss!”
“Come here I need to talk to you for a minute.”
Shit. What the fuck did I do now.
I let out a quiet sigh and made my way down the hall to the front of the house.
“Yes?”
My mother…
Very emotion post after learning that I was denied coverage for weight loss surgery.
I guess I have to do this on my own.
Weight: 336.4 lbs/152.6 kg
Total loss: 46.6 lbs/21.1 kg
This is from me being on the liver shrinking diet for about 3 days now. I’m very hungry and I want some Bojangles but I have to remember why I’m doing this. If I mess up, I’m only setting myself back. I still haven’t heard from my surgeon’s office about the insurance and I’m getting slightly worried but overall, I’m staying positive and hoping for the best.
Almost at 50 pounds lost! Woot!
Today, I started my Liver Shrinking Diet. I bought this huge jar of protein shake mix which doesn’t taste bad but it’s not the most pleasant drink. I’m not really sure how I’m gonna do this diet for 2 weeks though. For breakfast, I can have 4 oz of fruit and a protein shake. Lunch is one protein shake and dinner is 4 oz of meat and 4 oz of vegetables.
I will try to stay alive.
Weight: 339.4 lbs/153.95 kg
Total loss: 43.6 lbs/19.78 kg
Woot! In the 330s!!!
Today’s the day my office will submit to insurance but there’s one problem. My insurance wants my weight from the past 5 years (one from each year), but moving away for college, I didn’t see my normal primary care doctor so she doesn’t have any records of my weight between 2008-2011. The surgeon’s office said that they’d submit to insurance what they have and see if that works. I reallyyyyy hope it works.
I’ll keep you guys posted on what happens next. :)
